Interesting week this week, as we had two snow days, both at the beginning and end of the week. Luckily, it seems this unit was a little on the shorter side, since we are having the unit quiz on Tuesday. Although I suppose that would make it unlucky?
Anyway, this unit was about finding the area under the curve. We started it off last week by drawing rectangles under the graph, but now we're using things like operations, anti-derivatives, and different rules of adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing them to obtain a more precise area under those curves. It looked pretty simple at first, but it quickly turned difficult when we had to do all sort of weird stuff with the rules by deduction and such. I did okay on some of them, and especially the stuff that were flat-out explained in the rules. Other times, that stuff went right over my head. Most of the time though, I felt quite alright. So I think that in regards to the quiz on Tuesday, I feel pretty alright.
