We started this week continuing off of what we did last week by doing more activities on related rates. We had a "sell it" activity where we got into a group and did related rates problems together. My group worked pretty fast, but at the same time, we also forgot to write down our answers on the worksheet. We just wrote it on the whiteboard and left it there. We did it for the last problem, but we pretty much negated an entire day's worth of work.
On Wednesday, we had our quiz. I do not feel confident at all on my related rates, so I came in here expecting the worst, but when I actually took it, it was actually not that bad. The only one that I really don't feel all that good about is the question asking how much time until the planes crash because I don't know how to do that with derivatives, but other than that I feel pretty good about the quiz. Then again, I felt terrible about my last quiz, and I got a perfect on that one, so maybe this is an omen of some kind.
We have a super big chapter review for Thursday and Friday before our chapter 4 test on Monday, but I'll probably spend the rest of the week goofing off like the rest of the class. I can always do the review at home, or during one of my two free hours this trimester due to my dual enrollment class. So yeah, I'm not all that worried, although I probably should be.
